WordPress Freelancer with Experience

Hi there, my name is Thomas and I am a WordPress freelancer with years of experience under my belt. Nice to meet you!

Many years ago I started with a platform called PHP Nuke. I was soon introduced to something similar called PostNuke (now Zikula). From there I began to explore other platforms like Joomla and Drupal. It was not the actual platform that I was intrigued by, it was the themes some of the developers were releasing for these platforms. I wanted to know how they were built and how they worked. So I started to build my own themes.

A close friend suggested I look at something called WordPress. I started playing with WordPress v2.0 (Duke) and was not immediately impressed. However once I started looking into the themes, what they could do and the possibilities they offered, I was hooked. From my experience as a WordPress freelancer as well as working with other platforms I believe WordPress is the most powerful available today.

Working as a WordPress freelancer i have found that WordPress never fails to amaze me. I learn something new and exciting about it everyday. The WordPress community is awesome. I can turn to the community if I run into a problem or if I am trying to figure something out, chances are someone in the community has had the same problem or tried to do the same thing.

Being a WordPress freelancer has given me the skills and knowledge to create my own Responsive WordPress theme called WP-Forge. It was built using a combination of WordPress and Zurb’s Foundation for Sites, the most advanced responsive front-end framework in the world.

WP-Forge is used on thousands of sites as well as some really cool band sites like Motley Crue, Hell Yeah and DrowningPool.

So there you have it, a little about me and what I like to do. So if you have any questions, concerns, comments or if you just want to say Hi, please feel free to contact me any time.

Thanks for stopping by and remember, I hope you utilize my themes to learn something new, create something awesome, but more importantly, I hope you share what you have learned with others.

As always, Enjoy!
