WP-Forge Updated to 5.2.1

I really do owe everyone who uses WP-Forge an apology. I have done something unacceptable. It seems that I missed it when Zurb updated Foundation to v5.2.1. – This happened five days ago and I just found out last night. So again, this morning, fueled by a large pot of coffee, I sat down and updated WP-Forge to Foundation 5.2.1. I apologize for the delay with the update. It wont happen again.

I also changed a few things as I am always trying to improve WP-Forge – Please refer to changelog.php or you can view the latest commit.

As always if you have questions, comments or issues, please feel free to starte a thread in the forums, send me an email or add me on Skype. Enjoy!

  1. Thomas,

Sorry you had to do the “all nighter” on this. I know you take your efforts here very seriously and you are doing this as a service to the WP community. You ARE appreciated.

I recommend you update your screenshot.png to reflect the version number 🙂 I think you usually do, but given the “all nighter”, it would be easy to drop this detail out.

    Thanks!

    • Hi John,

Actually I didn’t pull an all nighter, I was up really early, hence the reference to the pot of coffee, because it seems like I drank a whole pot…lol and yes I forgot to update the version number on the screenshot, thank you for pointing that out. I didn’t realize I forgot to do that. I will def correct that here soon 😉

  2. I sometimes wonder if you update too quickly. Aren’t there usually a few bugs that take a little extra time to work out with Foundation that get pushed/merged later on?

    • Hi Craig,

Actually no, that is why they have updates. They release one update, everyone gets all happy and what not, then people start finding things here and there after that update, so they push this over here, merge that over there and then when you least expect it….BAMO! we get another update. Its all part of the process 😉
